Irha is a friendly young girl who is happy to be in school. She is the fifth child of eight siblings having two brothers and five sisters. To support the large family, her father is an ambulance driver while her mother is a Barangay Councilor and a homemaker. Irha has become friends with many deaf children in school. In her class, she has learned to write her name and also the sign for her name and the names of her classmates, parents, and siblings. She has learned basic living skills staying in the dorm that she can apply at home. She has also learned to be responsible for herself. Her favorite color is yellow.
