Arvelyn is a well-mannered young girl who lives with her aunt's family because her mother is working out of the country. She has not known her father and seldom sees her mother but is not lonely since she belongs to a big community of deaf people in IDEA Philippines. Arvelyn has learned many things in school like reading, writing, and math. English is her favorite subject. She has learned basic living skills staying at the dormitory and how to be responsible for herself. Arvelyn is so excited to be in high school. She was glad to have participated in BDA's school activities. She looks forward to fun-filled activities as she learns to hone her interpersonal skills. She loves to dance, and her favorite color is pink.
