Rising operational costs, particularly for electricity and food, are straining IDEA’s ability to meet student needs. Over the past five years, electricity costs have risen by 50%, diverting resources away from critical student programs. Food costs have also increased significantly, making it more difficult to provide nutritious meals for students living in IDEA’s dormitories.

To address this, IDEA is raising $260,000 for a solar energy initiative that will drastically cut electricity costs and allow IDEA to reinvest approximately fifty thousand dollars annually to directly improve the health, education, and well-being of our Deaf students.

Transformational Partner ($25,000): Lead the charge in sustainable energy for our entire IDEA compound. Your company’s name will be displayed on a recognition placard and receive a personalized gratitude video for your marketing.

Impact Partner ($5,000-$10,000): Fuel vocational training and empower Deaf education. Your business. Your company’s name will be displayed on a donor wall.

Community Partner ($1,000): Help power classrooms and support essential services. Your company’s name will be recognized on IDEA’s social media.
